Janet Jackson has been practicing hard these past few weeks in order to ensure she honors her brother, Michael Jackson, properly in her tribute performance at the MTV's Video Music Awards. It has only just been announced that Janet's homage to her recently deceased brother will be the opening act at the VMAs this Sunday, September 14th.
According to TMZ, “the tribute piece will reportedly involve 20 backup dancers, trained by world-class choreographers such as Frank Gatson and Travis Payne,” and will certainly be a real tearjerker considering his sister is leading the group.
I am hopeful the tribute at the VMAs will be the last of its kind, send the King of Pop out in style and put an end to the media madness that has surrounded his death…finally, Michael Jackson will rest in peace.
Don’t forget to tune into the Video Music Awards this Sunday on MTV.
