Rob Zombie Rises--Just in Time for Halloween!
Rob Zombie is getting back to business as usual. After putting the Halloween franchise to bed and killing off the remainder of his ‘Devil’s Rejects’, Zombie’s director seat can finally stay empty as Zombie sets off on a late-fall tour to promote his new album.
The album, entitled Hellbilly Deluxe 2: Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool will be released in November, while the tour will begin at the end of October.
The track list is as follows:

Track ten is also the title of the fake trailer that was featured in between films in Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse double feature.
Accompanying Zombie on the cross-country, hard rock-fest will be Necromantix and Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures (who were featured in Zombie’s adaptation of Halloween II).
In celebration of All Hallows Eve and the new album, a special event will take place in Hollywood, Calif., which will be hosted by another face seen in Halloween II, Uncle Seymour Coffins.

On a Director Zombie note, the animated film The Haunted World of El Superbeasto will be released to Blu-ray and DVD on September 22.
As for Zombie’s future directorial projects, a remake of the classic horror film “The Blob” is slated to begin shooting in mid-2010.
