Britney Spears keeps coming back. She's like Madonna (only not as inventive, talented or original). The pop star announced yesterday on her web site that she will release The Singles Collection on November 24th. The album you've been waiting for to round out your 2009 collection is here.
Spears also plans to include a new single, "3," on this greatest hits compilation. The single was produced by the same musical mastermind who Spears worked with on her first hit ". . . Baby One More Time." If the success of her first tune is any indication, there is a definite possibility that "3" will be dominating the airwaves for months and years to come. "3" is set to be released next Tuesday.
Singles will be available for fans in two forms: your run-of-the mill best of the best Britney singles including 17 of her biggest hits, and a box set that includes all 29 of Spears' singles (with their respective artwork, B-sides or remixes), a DVD of BS's (ha) music videos and a photo booklet.
Spears is currently taking her "Circus" tour around the U.S.
