Scarlett Johansson Sings Live
Scarlett Johansson’s live performance of “Relator” with Pete Yorn on France's Le Grand Journal went pretty well. In my opinion, they sound a lot better together than Johansson does alone on her solo parts. However, the actress-turned-singer can actually carry a tune and proves that she isn’t reliant on synthesizers and other technology to enhance her natural pipes.
I wonder if her voice tone is a result of her trying to come off folk-ish, or if it is actually how her voice sounds when she sings.
Dependent on her deep, honey speaking voice, I would doubt that she is adding any unnecessary bells to her whistle. Johansson proves to be a triple threat in a whole different way—acting, singing, and beauty that makes men (and women) weak in the knees.
“Relator” can be found on Johansson and Yorn’s recently released album Break Up.
Here is the full track list:
"Relator"
"Wear and Tear"
"I Don't Know What To Do"
"Search Your Heart"
"Blackie's Dead"
"I Am The Cosmos"
"Shampoo"
"Clean"
"Someday"
-Marie Baginski
Currently listening to ScarJo’s honey-folk vocals
