Beastie Boys Reissue 'Hello Nasty'
The Beastie Boys have been through a lot this year. With Adam “MCA” Yauch being diagnosed with salilvary gland cancer, projects have been pushed to the back burner. Their new album, The Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1, which was supposed to be released yesterday (Sept. 15), was postponed without an updated release date. The Boys also canceled their summer tour while Yauch was in treatment. But they haven't let that stop them.
The hip hop vets released a digital reissue of 1998's Hello Nasty yesterday. Nasty includes one of the Boys' biggest hits from the late 90s, "Intergalactic," along with “Body Movin’” and “Remote Control.” The (non digital) album will be available in stores Tuesday, September 22nd. This version of the record includes 21 bonus tracks, including B-sides and rarities.
The album is available in various forms and packages, including a package with video footage of the Beasties and a collector's vinyl package. Check out all the purchase options on the Beastie Boy's web site.
