Kanye West and Lady Gaga announced the first dates for their joint "Fame Kills" tour today. The dates are posted on Gaga's web site. The four dates posted are spread out from November to January; the full list of dates will be released early next week.
Both artists are tour headliners. As West told Rolling Stone, "[Lady Gaga]'s talented and so incredible that she’s not an opening act. We’re doing it together, with no opening act." Quite a compliment coming from the notoriously big-headed Mr. West. The two have shown a mutual respect for each other's music, with Kanye sampling "Pokerface" for a collaboration with Kid Cudi and LG doing a cover of West's "Heartless" at one of her shows.
So far, the "Fame Kills" tour looks like this:
Nov. 18 – Sacramento, CA
Dec. 12 – Greensboro, NC
Dec. 26 – Hartford, CT @ XL Center
Jan. 24, 2010 – Dallas, TX
