Soulja Boy Runs From Police

 Say you’re a well-known rapper.  For this story’s sake lets say you’re Soulja Boy.  You’ve had a number 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and you’ve worked with prominent figures in the rap game such as Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti.  So what’s next?

Apparently, getting arrested.

Wednesday, October 7, DeAndre Ramone Way (Soulja Boy’s real name), was arrested after running from police in Mcdonough, Ga.  No, he didn’t rob a bank, or slap a ho, apparently the 19-year-old rapper was on the set of a video shoot with 40 or more friends in what looked like an old, abandoned house.




Captain Jason Bolton was the first officer on the scene after being told that a group of people were hanging out and around 9 p.m. he came on the scene. 

He found three women walking to the back of the house and as Bolton followed them around, he found a large group of people, several of whom ran leaving their cars behind. 

One of the cars was a white Range Rover, owned by Way, who returned to the house a few moments after fleeing the scene, where he was arrested soon after.

"He just ran from the police, and then he decided to come back," Bolton told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Maybe his conscience got the better of him, or maybe he didn’t want his Range Rover impounded, whatever the case, he’s got a pretty good-looking mug shot.
