The ex-fiancé of Kandi Burruss (former Xscape member, singer/songwriter and producer) died from an injury to his head he incurred at an Atlanta strip club where he worked.
According to reports, Ashley Jewell, or AJ sustained a severe blow to the head as a result of an altercation in the club’s parking lot; later dying at a hospital.
Fredrick Richardson,who also sustained injuries,will be charged with manslaughter and jailed upon release from Grady Memorial Hospital, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Jewell occasionally appeared on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta with Kandi—a “real housewife.” Kandi’s mother did not mesh well with Jewell and did not support their engagement, which was usually the plot behind his appearance on the show.
One of Kandi’s tweets reads:
im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone.
The case is under investigation.
