Jay-Z samples Regina Spektor on new track
Jay-Z is a busy man. He just released his latest album, The Blueprint 3, less than a month ago, and there's already news of a recently completed new track. The songs is called "Crispy Benjamins" and samples piano-playing songbird Regina Spektor's "Chemo Limo." It should be interesting to see how the Jigga Man's rhymes work with Spektor's soaring vocals.
Rolling Stone reported that Jay-Z plans to release "Crispy Billions" before the end of 2009 but it'ss still unclear which album "Billlions" will be a part of -- possibly an early reissue of BP3, or on a rumored greatest hits disc. Jay-Z's reportedly set to release the third greatest hits album of his career on his former label, Def Jam, but "Crispy Billions" was recorded for Atlantic. Looks like we'll have to wait and see when and where the track comes out.
