Just in time for Christmas, Lagacy Recordings is releasing a 100-song box set to mark Elvis Presley's 75th birthday. Elvis 75: Good Rockin’ Tonight will hit stores December 8.
The four-disc compilation cover s Elvis’ career from 1953 (“My Happiness”) to 2002 with a JXL Radio Remix Edit of “A Little Less Conversation”—a track that reached No.1 in more than 20 countries.
The set also comes with an 80-page booklet that reveals rare photos of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll along with an essay by journalist Billy Altman.
Following suit to the Beatles’ retailer -smorgasbord box set, Elvis 75 hopes to take advantage of buyers willing to pay a little extra for a big dose of nastalgia.
For those of us with tighter pockets, a single-disc version of Elvis 75 is set for release on Jan. 5.
