As we told you last week, 19-year-old rapper Soulja Boy (a.k.a. DeAndre Ramone Way) was arrested in McDonough, Ga., while filming a music video in an abandoned home. After attempting to run from police, Soulja Boy found found himself in the back of a cop car but was released from jail last Thursday on $550 bond.
The swag master is back in the news today for reportedly owing his L.A. landlord nearly $9,500 in rent payments and violating other terms of his lease agreement.
With several mega hits under his belt including the inescapable "Crank That (Soulja Boy)," party anthem "Turn My Swag On" and "Kiss Me Thru the Phone," its difficult to understand why Soulja Boy defaulted on his rent payments.
A letter from Soulja Boy's landlord also accuses the teen hip hop star of noise complaints and having too many overnight guests, some of whom were found "wandering the hallway."
