Elvis' grandson scores record deal

Photobucket

Benjamin Presley has some big shoes to fill. The grandson of Elvis Presley just signed a $5 million deal with Universal records; he's only 17 years old.

Benjamin is the son of Danny Keough and Lisa Marie Presley -- Elvis' daughter, and perhaps even more notably, ex-wife of Michael Jackson. It's a real shame MJ's not his daddy; just imagine the blood of two kings running through one body. Ben would be unstoppable.

As of right now, no one really knows what to expect from the teenage Presley. The rookie musician has not yet released any albums, and Universal decided it was worth $5 million to see what he can come up with.  It makes you wonder whether the label signed him because his music is good or simply because he's Elvis's spawn. Benjamin may not even be able to count on the hardcore Graceland set to buy his album; according to Benjamin his music will sound "nothing like Elvis."
