Where in the world is Lauryn Hill?

Hip-hop/R&B singer and ex-Fugee Lauryn Hill will resurface this summer, all the way across the pond in Stockholm, Switzerland. She will headline the Stockholm Jazz Festival, set to take place July 15-19. According to the AP, a festival organizer said that Hill will perform 10 shows in Europe. Hill’s appearances have been sporadic these past few years. She lured out of hiding in 2008, when she was spotted hanging out with Martha Stewart at a book signing in New Jersey. In August 2007 she had an over two hour performance for free in Brooklyn, playing tracks from the Grammy-winning Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley songs, and old Fugee’s hits. Being that Miseducation is over 10 years old, Hill is long overdue for a new album. She’s been rumored to be working on one since 2004, so I hope no one is still holding their breath for that one. Now, we just have to get her back to America for some tour dates…Maybe Martha Stewart can write another book.
