It’s Tuesday, kids, and in America, that means new music. I know it’s raining and money is tight, but nothing brightens a dreary day like adding some new music to your library.
If you’re like me, you find a record you like and play it to death. So how does one wade through all the new releases and find the perfect new album, you ask? Well, I guess you buy them all. But if you are short on time and money like me, here are some records I might buy if I had $15 to spend on something other than food or bills this Tuesday.
Miles Davis- vinyl reissues-
Bitches Brew
Nefertiti
Sketches of Spain
In A Silent Way
Because In A Silent Way is a great album to listen to while you sit at your desk on a rainy day like today.
Little Boots- 12” vinyl
Aercibo
Because Perez Hilton named her one of his three artists to watch in 2009, and we all know Perez doesn’t lie. And because you can’t help dancing to this record.
Mates of State
Re-arranged: remixes Vol. 1
Because this band is just so cool, and this vinyl only costs $8. And it’s all remixed, which is always fun.
Death Cab for Cutie
The Open Door
Because they remind me of high school.
The Boy Least Likely To
The Law of the Playground
Because the quirky lyrics and sweet melodies can’t help but lift your spirits. A perfect spring soundtrack.
