Word from the AthFest folks late last week that the headliners for the 12th version of the festival are settled:
Friday, June 26: Local rockers Dead Confederate and Atlanta buzz band Black Lips
Saturday, June 27: Bloodkin, fresh off a new release, followed by PAtterson Hood & The Screwtopians (Hood, John Neff, Brad Morgan, Will Johnson and Scott Danbom of Centro-Matic and David Barbe)
SUnday, June 28: Two Athens legends! Dreams So Real (frirst show in over ao years!) followed by Randall Bramblett Band.
A very, very good start indeed. Submission deadline for bands is tomorrow, so more news should be flowing in before long about outdoor and indoor stages. Stay tuned to www.athfest.com for info!
