That’s right, sports fans, dear ole Athens made the top 30 places to visit… IN THE WORLD! So if you come across somebody that thinks they have a better college town (UNLV, anyone?); or thinks that our music scene doesn’t match up with those abroad (notice destination number 29, located in the U.K.); or that we don’t have any tradition (enter: Thailand), make sure to give them some advice with said list. As we take note of the departure of one number 24 (thank you, Knowshon), we can welcome in another. People of Athens, unite!
