Mon. April 20
Dinosaur Junior
w/ Dead Confederate and Pride Parade
40 Watt Club
doors at 9:30 p.m.
$17
Dead Confederate is the latest band out of Athens to garner national (and internationl) attention. Check out the Southern grunge sounds as they rock with two other great bands.
Wilco
Classic Center
Doors at 8 p.m.
$30
Wilco is a classic cool-kid band, and it isn’t every day you can catch them in the Classic City. Though the ticket price is a little higher than the normal Athens concert ticket, you won’t be disappointed.
Tues. April 21
Jazz Night with either Dan Nettles Trio or Carl Lindberg Trio
Farm 255
FREE
One of my all-time favorite things to do around Athens. Not only do you get to hear great jazz for FREE, all house wine is half price. So take a date, enjoy the warmer weather and listen to some jazz. Or don’t take a date, I’ll talk to you. There’s no excuse not to be there.
Wed. April 22
Manchester Orchestra
w/ Fun, Audrye Sessions, Winston Audio
40 Watt
Doors at 7:30
$10/adv.
This indie group from Atlanta is reminiscent of Bright Eyes and Neutral Milk Hotel. Plus, it’s an early show, so you can get a good night of music AND a good night’s sleep.
Thurs. April 23
The Heathens
Terrapin Brewery
5:30 p.m.
FREE
Not only can you get four pints for, like, $8, but you can listen to music too. The Heathens are a straightforward rock band infused saxophones. How can you beat that for a Thursday afternoon?
-Lindsey Lee
Currently listening to: “Ball and a Biscuit” by the White Stripes

Dinosaur Jr. is actually the headliner at 40 Watt. Just wanted to mention that in case anyone's timing it to run by after Wilco.
