With Bob Dylan's new album, Together Through Life, set to hit shelves in just a week, a video for the first track on the album, "Beyond Here Lies Nothin'," premieres today on Amazon.com. For two days Amazon will host the video, which of course, does not actually feature the ever-reclusive Dylan, but instead shows a photo-montage from Bruce Davidson's 1959 "Brooklyn Gang" series. The black-and-white photographs actually work well, and I look forward to seeing what Dylan offers on his latest album. Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter co-wrote nine out of the 10 tracks, so it should be interesting to see Hunter's influence as well. Anyway, get a sneak peak of the video on Amazon today. On April 22 the video will move to Dylan's official site.
