Are you a sucker for pop music? If so, check out http://www.arcmusic.org/begin.html for a catalog of the world's largest archive for popular music which includes Rolling Stones' Keith Richard's old blues records among other gems. The ARChive of Contemporary Music in Tribeca includes 3 million photographs, more than 2 million recordings, and an abundance of press kits, videos, memorabilia and books all available online for your personal use. But there's a catch. Viewers won't be able to actually listen to the music online. Bummer. According to the Associated Press, the catalog's purpose is to provide authoratative data about about the sound recordings in the collection. Kind of a let down, but it's actually a pretty legit Web site. Check it out.
