Avett Brothers announce track list for I and Love and You
Critical darlings and one of my current favorites, the Avett Brothers just announced the track list for their upcoming album I and Love You. I guess you can just imagine what the songs will sound like based on their titles until you can get your hands and ears on the real thing August 11.

Whitney Houston will put out a new album
Houston will put out a brand new album September 1, after six years. There isn’t much info out yet about what the album will sound like, but there are rumors of duets with Akon and R. Kelly. Personally, I think Whitney should stay away from the Akon stuff and rock her amazing voice.

MGMT releases new music video
I know what you did last summer-- you blasted MGMT on repeat. Okay, so maybe it’s been a year since the band released the weird video for “Time to Pretend,” but this summer, you can indulge in MGMT’s newest video for “Kids.” This one is even more weird and creepy than the first video. Check it out, here. Do you like it?

Actor David Carradine passed away
The 72-year-old star of “Kill Bill” and “Kung Fu” was found dead in his hotel room in Thailand, where he was filming a new movie, “Stretch.”
