After much anticipation by children and parents all over the world, “The Beatles: Rock Band” will be released on September 9th to Xbox, Playstation, and Wii systems. At a gaming conference today in Las Vegas, Paul, Ringo, Yoko Ono, and Olivia Harrison gave out more details about the game. The game follows the band’s career from 1963 to 1969. Depending on the instrument you decide to play in the game, you will appear on the television screen as a star-—looking identical to a former band member. According to a press release, gamers can hear, “unreleased authentic voice recordings from John, Paul, George and Ringo chatting between takes during studio session recorded at Abbey Road more than four decades ago.”

Scared of singing in front of your friends alone? Don’t be. The game features a three-part harmony, meaning three people can sing the popular tunes at the same time. The game will have a playlist of 45 songs including “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “I Feel Fine,” “Taxman,” “I Am the Walrus” and “Hear Comes the Sun.” On September 9th, fans can also download “All You Need Is Love” and proceeds will benefit Doctors Without Borders.
