New "Toys in the Attic"

Photobucket

Four-time Grammy award winning rockers, Aerosmith, are trying something different on their 2009 summer tour by performing, in it’s entirety, the classic 1975 album, Toys in the Attic. The first two dates of their June to September trek across America featured the full album performances minus the ending track “You See Me Crying.” Guitarist Joe Perry explained to Reuters that Steven Tyler found the song a bit too difficult to play at present but future shows may incorporate Toys in the Attic’s final track in later dates on the tour. He also said that in a few weeks they will be switching up the set list and will be playing another one of the band’s classic albums -- 1976’s Rocks. Aerosmith will be accompanied by ZZ Top for the remainder of the tour and the classic rock duo will be stopping in Atlanta, Ga. on Wednesday, July 15 at the Lakewood Amphitheatre.
