Jack White solo?

Photobucket

While Jack White is becoming known for fronting a variety of bands- the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, and the Dead Weather- he’s announced he’d like to try the solo thing. According to an article recently in Music Connection magazine, White hopes to “start working on a solo album at the end of 2009.” The release would be the first solo material from White, aside from a few songs on the Cold Mountain soundtrack. Seriously though, when does he sleep? White told Music Radar recently that the next White Stripes album is also in the works, possibly out next year. He’s also just opened Third Man Records complex in Nashville. With all of the studio time he’s logging, White is quickly becoming rock’s Lil’ Wayne. Oh wait, Lil’ Wayne is now trying the rock thing (emphasis on trying). This analogy is getting confusing, but you catch the drift…
