Weekend Picks

May 15-17
Hoopee Jam
Grab a few of your buddies because it's about time for a little roadtrip. Head on down to Swainsboro for a 3-day music festival held on a private farm along the Ohoopee River (only 2 hours and 48 minutes from Athens). You can expect blues, funk, soul, jam and everything in between with acts like Randall Bramblett, Blueground Undergrass, Jimmy Hall, and the Yonrico Scott Band. See the full lineup here. Tickets are going for $70 for the whole weekend with a limited amount of one day passes available for $30. And don't forget to BYOB. Yay no $5 beers!

However, if you're planning on hanging in Athens this weekend, there is a lot to listen to.
