Depeche Mode Lead Singer Recovering from Tumor

Photobucket
Originally, Depeche Mode lead singer, Dave Gahan, went into the hospital thinking he had a severe case of the stomach flu. This happened right before the band’s tour in Athens, Greece scheduled for May 12th.

According to a press release, “while in the hospital, further medical tests revealed a low-grade malignant tumor in Dave’s bladder, which has since been successfully removed” (pitchforkmedia.com).

15 out of the 75 shows were cancelled due to the singer’s medical complications. Some of the shows may be rescheduled. The tour will resume June 8th. Look out for Depeche Mode in Atlanta on September 9th at Lakewood Amphitheatre.
