Artist of the Day - The Holman Autry Band

If Southern/Instrumental rock is your thing, Holman Autry Band is your up and coming group. With roots near Athens, in Madison County, Georgia, Holman Autry Band brings a distinct sound that has sold out the Georgia Theater among other clubs around Georgia. With a style that fans and members of the band call “Black Label Country,” Holman Autry Band brings a distinct sound of 5 self-taught musicians in their 20’s. The band pulls influences from Gov’t Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughn as well as Metallica and Eric Clapton. Be sure to check out the guys at the Georgia Theater on Saturday, June 6th. Tickets are $5. They will also be playing at AthFest on June 28th, on the outside main stage at 3:30 pm.

  1. THE HAVE ANOTHER ALBUM RELEASED IN MARCH 2009, ENTITLED "SWEET SOUTHERN WIND". EXCELLENT BAND. CHECK THEM OUT.
