I See A Little Silhouette of . . . Adam Lambert?

Photobucket

There’s a little rumor going around stating that American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert is being considered to join the classic rock band, Queen. Guitarist Brian May spoke to Rolling Stone Magazine to get the story straight.

“Amongst all that furor, there wasn’t really a quiet moment to talk…But [drummer Roger Taylor] and I are definitely hoping to have a meaningful conversation with him at some point. It’s not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn’t that easy. But I’d certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there.”

Lambert performed alongside Idol winner Kris Allen during the show’s finale and sang “We Are the Champions” which began the buzz about a new personnel change within Queen’s classic rock line-up. Taking the reigns after the late, lead vocalist Freddie Mercury will be quite the shoes to fill for the eye-liner clad singer but for now, fans can revel in the fact that the future looks bright for this American Idol (runner-up!)
