The gardens will be rocking on Tuesday, June 23 when Athens own indie group, The Modern Skirts will be performing along with alt-country singer Dodd Ferrelle at the Athens Botanical Gardens. The show is a part of the Garden's 9th Annual Sunflower Concert series which has featured previous Athens bands such as Vic Chestnutt and Tim Easton. The show starts at 7 p.m. and will run until 9 p.m. Blankets and picnics can be brought inside and light snacks and beverages are a part of the price of the ticket. (Lawn chairs are NOT allowed.) The tickets are $10 for members of the Garden, $15 for non-members and children 6 - 12 are only $5.
