Jessica Simpson's coming back to reality TV

Jessica Simpson is coming back to reality TV.

A culturally enlightened premise with a trashy twist, the new VH1 show will feature Simpson traveling the globe to explore the beauty regimens and style trends around the world. This is the first big thing Simpson has done since her last reality show, “Newlyweds” catapulted her to super-famedom but destroyed her marriage. The singer’s country album, 2008’s Do You Know, was a flop to say the least.

While I can applaud Ms. Daisy Duke for not using TV to find a new best friend or date a bunch of tools, I’ll be sticking to “Mythbusters” and “Bizaare Foods with Andrew Zimmerman.”
