Those of you concerned about upcoming shows that were scheduled to take place at the Georgia Theatre, besides Perpetual Groove and Athfest, should be able to breathe a semi-sigh of relief. According to the Theatre's official website and the Georgia Public Broadcasting blog, officials in charge of scheduling shows are currently working on moving acts like Jenny Lewis (slated to play on July 1) and the Led Zeppelin cover band Zoso (slated to play July 2) to different venues around Athens. We will keep you updated when more information is available, but nothing has been said yet whether any shows will be cancelled. Keep those fingers crossed!
