"Britney has passed today. It is a sad day for everyone. More news to come."
This was the message posted by a hacker who found their way into Britney Spears’ Twitpic account earlier today, which was quickly countered by this post,
“Britney's Twitter was just hacked. The last message is obviously not true. She is fine and dandy spending a quiet day at home relaxing.”
Twitpic Inc., a program that allows users to post pictures on Twitter, told those who read Ms. Spears’ post to totally disregard it and that the company will "implement a fix for the email posting vulnerability, and a full blog post explaining the issue will be released soon." Twitpic Inc. is not owned by Twitter Inc.
