Kelis is Broke

Kelis married rapper Nas in 2003 and is now expecting a child. She claims Nas is not offering to pay any expenses concerning the baby even though she says Nas is filthy rich. The diva is now taking matters into the hands of a judge by trying to force her estranged husband to pay $20,000 for baby supplies and $3,500 for the baby’s nurse after the child is born. Kelis doesn’t think after the divorce is finalized she should have to change her lifestyle which consists of diamond tennis bracelets worth $190,000, five homes, flying first class, going to fancy restaurants and numerous watches with name brands such as Cartier and Rolex.
