The Strokes' Frontman Goes Solo

Photobucket

Julian Casablancas, the lead singer of The Strokes, will release a solo album called Phrazes for the Young this fall. The eight songs on the disc were produced by Jason Lader, who has worked with Jay-Z, Coldplay, Gwen Stephani and Justine Timberlake. Additional production credits go to Mike Mogis, who has worked with Bright Eyes. Don’t worry, Strokes fans, the band is currently writing songs for their fourth album. In the meantime, Cassablancas will announce some special U.S. dates and a solo tour for later this year. Check out the video launched on his new website: http://www.juliancasablancas.com/
