Michael Jackson buried; his brain is not

Photobucket

It's true - Michael Jackson was laid to rest sans brain this morning, as doctors will continue to run tests in order to determine an exact cause of the pop star's death (it is becoming widely believed that doctors are focusing on painkillers as the cause of his cardiac arrest).

The brain was removed and must be allowed to harden for a period of two weeks before proper tissue testing can be carried out. Meanwhile, as star-studded memorial service is set to get underway shortly at Los Angeles' Staple Center following a private service in an undisclosed Los Angeles cememtery.

His family was informed of the necessity to remove Jackson's brain or be faced with the prospect of delaying his burial for an undetermined amount of time, as there is no word yet on exactly how long these tests will take once the brain tissue is ready to be tested.
