Thought nothing good could come out of our dwindling economy? Think again! A lot of your favorite musicians are offering ticket deals and other incentives to their fans in order to help keep the music industry afloat. Country rocker Keith Urban has set aside a lot of tickets for 20 bucks a pop so fans can come, even if they are being hit hard by the economy. "I'd make every ticket $10, but we'd be up there with a megaphone and a flashlight with some colored paper over it," Urban said in a recent interview. Though the music industry has always withstood economically trying times, musicians are making sure it stays that way with Coldplay planning to give concertgoers a free live album, and U2 blocking off at least $10,000 seats to be priced in the $30 range at every show. No Doubt is giving fans a digital download of their entire catalog in exchange for a purchase of a premium ticket ($42.50). With Summer being the busiest time for concerts, promoters are also concerned about filling their seats. Bonaroo and and Coachella are offering layaway this year with other festivals cutting their prices back as well. Take advantage of these deals people, and continue to support the music!
