Support Nucis Space!

Nuçi's Space, a non-profit music resource center here in Athens that helps musicians receive obstacle-free treatment for depression and other mental health disorders is having its annual Depression and Suicide Awareness Week. Linda Phillips founded Nuçi's Space after her son, Nuçi Phillips, a talented musician and University of Georgia student, took his life after a long battle with major depression.  Show some support for local musicians by attending events this week:

Monday: Student panel in room 213 of the SLC at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday: Movie night at Ciné: the movie "In a Dream" at 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday: Open Mic Night in room 153 of the SLC at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: Art Show at Nuci's Space from 7:00 p.m., $3 donation at the door
Friday: Benefit Concert: Ashton May, Claire Campbell from Hope For Agoldensummer, The HEAP, 8 p.m., $5 donation at the door
