Artist of the Day: Randall Bramblett Band

Randall Bramblett is a local-legend in Athens, having graced the stage with Widespread Panic, The Allman Brothers, Steve Winwood and Deep Purple. Not only does Randall have true musical talent, he’s a great guy to be around. Since being with his new band, the Randall Bramblett Band, there has been a growing fan appreciate for the true talents these men have. It’s true Americana rock, but there’s a soul intertwined that can be matched by very few, as Randall and company continue to portray amazing songwriting skills and unequivocal playing abilities. According to Chuck Leavell, who has played with the Rolling Stones and the Allman Brothers, “Randall is in my opinion the most gifted and talented southern singer-songwriter musicians of the past decades.” Each musician in the band is a gifted producer and musician, a conglomerate that sums up to excellence. Be sure to check Randall out this Friday at the Melting Point, as he will be playing with old friend, Chuck Leavell. The show starts around 9 and tickets at $100-$150.
