Boyz II Men Member Diagnosed with H1N1

No one is safe from H1N1.  Not even members of early 90s soul/r&b boy bands.

Boyz II Men member Shawn Stockman was reported by as being diagnosed with the virus and wasn’t able to accompany his bandmates’ Wanya Morris and Nathan Morris at the Soul Train Music Awards on Tuesday in Atlanta.

The group were scheduled to perform and had to perform as a duo, due to Stockman’s diagnosis.

Wanya and Nathan Morris spoke to about their ailing band mate.

"We tour eight months out of the year, and we are always traveling around," Nathan said. "It's hectic for us always being in airplanes and airports. He got sick, and it hit him pretty hard."

Nathan went on to say that he had spoken to Stockman earlier in the day and said that he was feeling much better

I don’t know if the Swine Flu has anything against famous 90s boy bands, but Stockman is the second singer within an all male group to catch the H1N1 virus.

Who was the first?
The answer:  Brian Littrell from the Backstreet Boys.

-          Jessica Cole

Currently Listening to:  “Living Dead Girl” by Rob Zombie
