Foo Fighters Record New Songs for Greatest Hits Disc

Photobucket

The Foo Fighters’ fifteenth birthday is fast approaching. How do they want to celebrate? By making something for us. On November 3 they’ll release Foo Fighters Greatest Hits. The album will include two new tracks, (in addition to the great hits) called “Word Forward" and "Wheels." "All My Life," "Everlong," "Learn To Fly" and "Best Of You" are just a few of the other Foo songs featured on the album.

Currently the band’s members are all working on different projects, with no immediate plans for an album of new material. Front man Dave Grohl is working alongside former members of Led Zeppelin and Queens of the Stone Age in a new band called Them Crooked Vultures. Their debut album is due out in October.

Foo’s bassist Nate Mendel is preparing to tour with his band, Sunny Day Real Estate. Their tour starts September 17 in Vancouver and will hit ATL October 3 at Center Stage.
