Yes, apparently Shakira is still making music. She is coming out with an English-language album set to be released in October, and to promote it, she is giving away a free download of her new single called “She-Wolf” at the ABC Music Lounge. The catch? You have to sign up for the Shakira mailing list (not a big deal for Shakira fans, but it did dissuade me from hitting the download button). The single was released last night and will be available until tonight (Monday, July 13th) at midnight. The song was written and produced by Shakira and John Hill. There is also a Spanish version of the song called “Loba” that will debut at No. 23 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart this week, according to Billboard.com. So Shakira fans, hurry and head over to http://musiclounge.abc.go.com/artist/9926 before midnight to get your free download.
