Artist of the Day: Joe Alterman

Pianist Joe Alterman has been interested in music from an early age. Currently, Alterman studies Jazz Piano and Psychology at New York University and has had the opportunity to learn/play with Don Friedman, Brian Lynch, Dave Pietro, Kenny Werner, Martin Wind, Mike Richmond and more. During his high school years he studied with Emory University's Director of Jazz Studies Gary Motley. He has played at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City, concert halls, clubs and even fraternity parties. His singles are definitely something to check out, oh and guess what…he’s only 20 years old.
