A Campaign for a 'Green' Funeral
The Black Lips are among a whole list of bands (Deerhunter, Carbonas) whom are backing a campaign for an all ‘green’ funeral for Atlanta rocker Bobby Ugandi.
Ugandi has been fighting cancer and has requested that his funeral be environmentally friendly, which is estimated to cost between $4-5,000.
In support of the Ugandi campaign, two members of the Black Lips, Cole Alexander and Jared Swiley, are reuniting with their previous band, Renegades, to raise money for the cause. The gig will be held tonight (July 1) at The Drunken Unicorn on July 1 in Atlanta.
