Radiohead might be making a new album

Photobucket

Remember back in August when Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke saddened and dismayed fans everywhere when by telling"The Believer" magazine his band did not plan to record any more full-length albums in the near future? Well, Yorke may have told a little fib. that may not be entirely true.

Guitarist Ed O'Brien told "NME" "We were misquoted [in "The Believer"]. We will be making an album!" O'Brien also stated that the band will be heading into its studio in Oxfordshire, England this winter. Radiohead lovers have seen the light at the end of the tunnel (maybe).

This recording session and potential new album all hinges on, of course, the participation of the rest of the band. So far there has been no confirmation from Yorke or the other Radiohead members about this news, but hopefully they're all on the same page. Because another name-your-own-price record from Radiohead can only be a good thing.

Stay tuned for more news on the band and its possible next album.
