The second annual Mule Fest is in the works for the weekend of August 21-23 (that's the weekend before the first football game, don't worry). The festival is in Athens and will include both outdoor concerts and indoor concerts at The Green Room. The main outdoor stage will be in the First American Bank and Trust parking lot on Thomas Street, adjacent from The Green Room. The participating artists are online at http://mulefest.net/mf/artist/. And this year there's an extra incentive to get involved with Mule Fest. A portion of the ticket and merchandise sales will benefit Nuci's Space, a nonprofit health and music resource center.
