Carrie Underwood's New Album Details
Country-pop sensation Carrie Underwood hasn’t released an album since 2007’s Carnival Ride, but the American Idol has broken her 2-year hiatus with the announcement of a new album to be released on November 3, 2009 entitled, Play On.
The picture above is the official cover to her new record which was produced a large part by Mark Bright, who also worked on Underwood’s previous two albums, USA Today reported.
Max Martin, who worked with the first American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson, was also reported as getting some studio time with Ms. Underwood.
Underwood’s first two albums have gone multi-platinum, the first of which going 7x multi-platinum, and it seems that each one received strong boosts from radio-friendly singles such as Some Heart’s “Before He Cheats” and Carnival Ride’s “So Small.”
If she can drop another tune with just as much sass and strong vocal ability, we may be looking at three multi-platinum records on her resume’, but the ball is in her court.
